14 October 2019: Meeting Tanzania Bilateral program.

Venue: Radisson Blu Airport Terminal Hotel (SkyCity)
Time: 09:30 - 17:00

One of the main goals of this meeting, is to follow up on the (informal) meeting that a number of us had in May at the Swedish Embassy in Dar es Salaam, where we, amongst others, discussed ways to improve the quality of the program in the next phase (2020-2025).

Johan Hellström from the Swedish Embassy in Dar es Salaam will join us online during the morning session.

May 2019: The Annual Planning Meetings for 2019/2020 will be held in Dar es Salaam on the following days:

• COSTECH      7 May (pre-meeting/workshop) and 8 May (formal meeting)
• MUHAS          8-9 May (pre-meeting/workshop) and 10 May (formal meeting)
• ARU               13 May (pre-meeting/workshop) and 14 May (formal meeting)
• UDSM            13-15 May (pre-meeting/workshop) and 16-17 May (formal meeting)

11–12 April 2019: Meeting Tanzania Bilateral program.

17 September 2018. The dates for the 2018 Annual Review Meetings during the second week and third week of November have now been decided:

• MUHAS: Monday 12^th of November
• COSTECH: Tuesday 13^th of November
• ARU: Wednesday 14^th of November
• UDSM: Monday 19^th of November

On the 15th and 16th November, UDSM will organize the 1^st Sida Conference 2018. Day 1, will be for presentations of policy papers, and round table to discuss linkage between industry and academia to support R&D activities and knowledge transfer. Therefore, each sub-programme is expected to prepare one policy paper and relevant stakeholders will be invited to attend. Day 2 will be for presentations of academic papers. We are currently preparing 'the Call for Papers', in which all researchers including UDSM Sida sub-programmes students  and other researchers from national and international institutions are welcome to present their papers on the selected themes. We expect to circulate the Call for Papers  and Annual Review Agenda soon. Again, each sub-program should  ensure that their masters and PhD students submit papers for presentations. We expect the Conference registration and submission of papers to be done using an online portal, which is under construction.

21 February 2018. The dates for the 2018 Annual Planning Meetings have now been decided:

• ARU: Tuesday 15 May – Wednesday 16 May
• COSTECH: Thursday 17 May (Friday 18 May in case of field visit)
• MUHAS: Monday 21 May – Tuesday 22 May
• UDSM: Wednesday 23 May – Thursday 24 May and Friday 25 May (IMS)

12 June 2017. The dates for the 2017 Annual Review Meetings during the second week of November have now been decided:

• MUHAS – Tuesday 14 November
• ARU – Wednesday 15 November
• UDSM – Thursday 16 November
• COSTECH – Friday 17 November

9 June 2017. On 8–9 November the Research for Development - 40 years research cooperation event will take place in Dar es Salaam at the Julius Nyerere Conference Center. The first day will be dedicated to high-level presentation, with, amongst others, the Tanzanian Minister of Education, Science and Technology and the Swedish State Secretary for HE and Research. More information will follow soon.

24 January 2017 (changed 13 March 2017). The dates for the 2017 Annual Planning Meetings have now been decided, and are as follows:

9 September 2016. The dates for the Annual Review Meetings for 2015/2016 have now been announced. The meetings will take place in Dar es Salaam at the respective institution.

1 Feb. 2016. The dates for the Annual Planning Meetings have now been finalized, and are as follows:

• UDSM:  10-11 May, 2016
• COSTECH: 12 May, 2016
• ARU: 18 May, 2016
• MUHAS: 19-20 May, 2016

The meetings will be held in Dar es Salaam at the respective institution.

8 Jan. 2016. The Annual Planning Meetings (APM) for the bilateral collaboration with Tanzania will be helt during the second and third week in May 2016 in Dar er Salaam (9-20 May). There will be four separate meetings for the four different institutions involved in Tanzania. Each of these meetings will take about two days. The exact meeting schedule will be announced shortly.
